Hip’n go cementless press-fit cups
The Hip’n go universal design allows the surgeon to choose between a dual mobility cup (press-fit, tripod or cemented) and a rigid cup (BIOLOX delta or UHMWPE liner) during the preoperative planning phase or during the procedure itself.
Hip’n go rigid cups are available in 10 sizes ranging 46 mm to 64 mm diameter in 2-mm increments.
The available liners are made of UHMWPE or BIOLOX delta ceramic.
Features and materials
The metal-back shells are machined from titanium alloy (TA6 V4).
The outer surface of the cementless press-fit cups is coated with plasma-sprayed T40 porous titanium and hydroxyapatite to ensure the implant’s secondary fixation.
The 28-mm diameter UHMWPE liners are available in a standard version (4 mm posterior wall) and flat rim version.
The BIOLOX delta alumina liners can be used with either Ø32 mm heads (starting at size 46) or Ø36 mm heads (starting at size 52).
A common Hip’n go instrumentation set is used with all the different types of cups in the product line. This instrumentation can be used with every surgical approach, including anterior, posterior and minimally-invasive.
